Weekend DIY

Saw a Lego set today at toys r us. It involved compartments and what looked like a built in base plate play surface. 

So I thought I'd DIY a mini one! (I confess to carrying Lego on a regular basis because I believe in having a "happy item" on a person at all time - so that if something crappy happens at work or whatever there's some small sunshine to cheer you up) 

Was a bit more fiddly than I thought to construct. This was the result. What do you think? 

Materials involved: 

1 tiny lunch box 

2 2x8 flat Lego bricks 

2 2x2 flat Lego bricks 

Craft glue 

Good snips 

Felt (to add some colour as well as to cut down noisy rattling and prevent damage to my Lego from the hard side surfaces!)
