Sharing photos of yesterday's catch!

I was the one that caught the grouper! 

We only ate two of the lot. The rest were packed home. 

We brought them to one of our favorite shops for them to clean and cook - they were YUMZ. 

Woohoo!

We went to the Shimano open house today. 

We paid $20 for a catalogue which came with about $50 of freebies. 

We found out the lucky draw was hours later and I managed to convince me friend to come back for it. It's a good thing we did! 

I hardly win anything!!! 

A 4000 reel even!!! Woohoo!!!

Secret shuttle has arrived!

My shuttle from the shuttle exchange has arrived from Alina in Ireland. She painted it herself and it looks awesome! It looks too pretty to use! The postcard she sent me is also spot on... Ireland looks beautiful.

And yes, I am now addicted to fly making. It's incredibly therapeutic - it's like a whole new craft with new materials and new tools. My fishing friends are very encouraging but I suspect that it's self serving for them since they get to try out my flies!
